Conventional box trucks
Conventional box trucks look significantly different from other types of box trucks since their engine is placed at the front of the cabin, making them longer and giving them what some refer to as a “nose.” As a benefit to the driving experience, this also makes the wheelbase longer and driving more comfortable since the wheelbase sits slightly in front of the cab.
Cab Over Engine
As the name indicates, the cab over engine box trucks place the engine directly underneath the cab, which provides several unique advantages for the driver. Namely, these box trucks are renowned for their tighter turning radius over conventional trucks. Additionally, the cab over engine box trucks typically have far greater visibility than other trucks, as their windows can be larger due to the unique engine placement. Because of both of these factors, cab over engine box trucks are seen as the best option by many who have deliveries in crowded or urban areas.
Refrigerated Box Trucks
If your business requires you to deliver perishable or temperature-sensitive cargo, a refrigerated box truck is a necessity. The COOP app provides options for box trucks with Thermo King refrigerated units, which provides the dependability and peace of mind of knowing your precious cargo will arrive at the exact temperature you need.
