Refrigerated Trucks
A refrigerated truck (also known as a “reefer” truck) is designed to carry perishable freight like food at low temperatures. Refrigerated trucks are environmentally friendly, as they are fitted with a condenser and evaporator that follow strict environmental guidelines. With many different sizes and even multiple zone refrigerated trucks available, you can join our COOP platform today to see what is available in Bridgeport right now!
Box Trucks
A box truck is a chassis cab truck with an enclosed cargo area, typically shaped like a box. These trucks can either have a separate cabin and cargo area or have a door separating the cab from the cargo. Box trucks are smaller than other freight-moving vehicles, which makes parking and maneuvering tight spaces easily, especially when using those built with the low-cab design. Box trucks are most often used to transport appliances or furniture. Join COOP today to find and rent a box truck in Bridgeport.
Stake Trucks
Stake trucks are heavy-duty flatbed trucks fitted with removable stakes/sides built into sockets on the sides of the truck. These moveable sides allow transportation of large items by allowing loading and unloading of cargo from the sides of the truck. Stake trucks can be used to transport cargo, heavy equipment, seed, feed, and livestock, but they can also be used in many other ways because they are flatbed trucks with removable sides. Coming in many different sizes, the maximum weight capacity is related to the size. For example, a 10 ft stake truck can carry 2,035 lbs, while a 20 ft stake truck can carry 3,345 lbs.
Isuzu
Known for building some of the best diesel engines in the medium-truck market, Isuzu trucks are known for being reliable, tough, safe, and built to last. Isuzu trucks have best-in-class visibility and maneuverability, and their low cab forward design provides up to two more feet of body along with enhanced visibility. With different options like the NPR, NQR, NRR, and FTR models, there is likely an Isuzu truck out there for whatever you need.
Thermo King
Thermo King invented the transport refrigeration unit, and they produce a wide array of different self-powered diesel units for trucks, vans, and even trailers. Thermo King units are fitted with fuel saver technology which reduces the cost of using a Thermo king-equipped truck due to their efficiency. Refrigerated trucks and units found on the COOP app can be used for a wide variety of business needs, whether it be frozen or fresh food delivery, flowers, medical supplies, or anything else that needs to be temperature controlled. Check the COOP app for the availability of Thermo King trucks, and anything from a 6 ft truck with the V-200 or B-100 unit up to the 22 ft truck with the V-800 MAX unit.
Freightliner
Freightliner trucks are best known for their cab-over sleeper trucks (long-haul big rigs) and have the highest annual sales in the industry for good reason. Their trucks have been used for many different transportation needs, ranging from light-duty to medium-duty and heavy-duty, depending on the type of truck used. Most Freightliner trucks are used to address different business hauling needs, and the M2 and SD models are some of Freightliner’s best trucks. The 114SD is a favorite among their customers because of the reliability and durability they offer.
Hino
A subsidiary of Toyota Motors Corporation of Japan, Hino is one of the best trucks in its class in North America. Built with the well-known Toyota quality, durability, and dependability, Hino trucks have excellent mileage and are known to break down far less frequently than other competitors. They also frequently rate the highest in the industry for customer satisfaction, which means you’re likely to be happy with any of their trucks. As America’s fastest-growing medium-duty truck brand, either their L or XL series models will have exactly what you need to get the job done.
Scania
The Scania company dates back to the 1800s and is a Swedish company owned by The Volkswagen Group. Renowned for making trucks of exceptional quality, Scania trucks are the go-to option for many drivers who transport cargo across the country. Their engines are loved by engineers, while their performance is loved by drivers. Consider the G-series for a capable mixture of countryside driving that can also navigate congested urban terrain, the R-series for higher horsepower and technological innovations, or the Scania 620 for fuel efficiency.
