Sleeper Tractors
These are tractors with an extra compartment in the cabin area referred to as the sleeper berth area. This extension is easily accessible from the inside of the cabin since it is used as a lounge area for the driver during long trips. Some tractor manufacturers design luxurious cab and sleeper berth areas to create an ultimate experience for the driver.
Day Cab Tractors
The cab area of day cab tractors is shorter than that of sleeper tractors, making the chassis lighter. As such, day cab tractors are commonly used for daylight deliveries. This is because the design improves the tractor’s maneuverability while also making it fuel economical.
Electric Vs Diesel-powered
Tandem axle tractors that are electric-powered have a rechargeable battery. They are quieter when compared to diesel-fueled tractors and are very environmentally friendly. When compared to electric-powered tractors, diesel tandem axle tractors have more torque. The maintenance costs have since decreased because of the replacement of the sparking technique with auto-ignition.
Kenworth
With Kenworth, you are spoilt for choice given the different reliable models there are. These tractors are built for different hauling capabilities, from heavy hauling to long-distance hauling, they can do it all! The engines are very durable and high-quality and the overall bodywork is made to ensure easy maintenance.
Volvo
Volvo tractors are built of lightweight materials that ensure that every long-distance trip is smooth. Through innovative technologies, the bodywork is quite impressive, built uniquely for a long-lasting experience. They are also very fuel-efficient with a variety of tandem axle tractor options to choose from.
Peterbilt
Another tandem axle tractor rented with COOP by Buffalo-based businesses is Peterbilt. The brand offers a wide range of options customized to meet every hauling need. The cabin is spacious with control features that are easy to use. The tractors are also equipped with durable and powerful engines.

The metalworks industry uses commercial trailers and heavy duty trucks to move raw materials, tools, and finished metal products. The ability to adjust the type and size of vehicles based on specific project needs allows metalworking businesses to operate more efficiently and responsively.
Many construction companies rely on rented trucks and commercial trailers to move raw materials such as concrete and lumber. However, warehouse and distribution companies involved in the concrete industry also rely on transportation to deliver raw materials and finished products through the production cycle. Having the right vehicle available to rent at the right time lowers cost and keeps deliveries on time.
The machine industry uses the ability to rent commercial trucks and trailers on-demand to deliver value. This method provides an efficient way to transport heavy machinery and equipment to and from manufacturing facilities and clients. The flexibility of renting as needed helps companies manage costs effectively and respond swiftly to client demands or dynamic project timelines.

Looking for ways to maximize stops at the pump when hauling goods on commercial trailers? When transporting loads, every mile counts, and fuel costs can significantly impact the bottom line. Finding ways to improve fuel efficiency is crucial, which is where trailer skirts (edge skirts or trailer side skirts) come in. These aerodynamic panels attach to the underside of trailers, and though they seem small, they offer big benefits for trailers.
