Extendable Flatbed Stretch Trailers
Derived from the name, these are flatbed trailers that can be extended to create more space for loads. They have a weight limit of 43,000lb and have lengths that fall between 48ft and 80ft. They are larger than standard flatbed trailers in order to haul freight without causing an overhang.
Stretch Double Drop
Stretch double drop trailers are mostly used for hauling oversized cargo. They are made up of two hauling decks. The main deck has lengths between 29ft and 65ft and can haul cargo with a maximum weight of 45,000lb. The other deck, which is the smallest has lengths ranging between 25ft to 29ft.
Removable Gooseneck Trailers(RGN)
RGNs are specialized flatbed trailers that are used for hauling freight that might be challenging to haul via other smaller flatbed trailers. The gooseneck is detachable to form a ramp which is normally used for loading and unloading. Usually, the main deck of a removable gooseneck trailer is 29ft, and they can haul cargo of up to 150,000lb.
