Refrigerated Box Trucks
Just as the name suggests, this particular box truck is fitted with refrigeration tools in the cargo space area. The equipment is mostly fitted at the front part of the cargo area which is diesel-powered, a feature that sets them apart from normal insulated trucks. Refrigerated box trucks are therefore used for the transportation of fresh foods, flowers, some types of arts and antiques, and medical tools, just to mention a few. The floor of these trucks is mostly modified to either wood or metallic for different uses
Conventional Box Trucks
This variation is recognizable since they have a nose-like front cabin where the engine is located. This makes it easy to service or repair since it is easy to access. Also, they provide a wide range of power configurations. However, visibility for the driver can be quite difficult for things that are up close.
Cabover Box Trucks
These are best known for their ability to maneuver in congested spaces because of a small wheelbase length. This feature reduces the turning radius of the box truck which solves the challenge of drivability in narrow roads and driveways. They also have the advantage of better visibility over conventional trucks since the cabin is positioned over the engine. This way, the driver is seated closer to the windscreen and can see what is directly in front of them.
Freightliner
This world-class brand is known for manufacturing medium-duty box trucks with diverse cargo space configurations. The box body is usually spacious giving enough room for hauling large cargo. The conventional box truck, for instance, provides the driver with maximum comfort and comes in a design that can be easily serviced. This brand also guarantees fuel efficiency which reduces overall costs in your business. Freightliner engines are also powerful, similar to those of larger machines, yet use less fuel. They are also long-lasting due to their superior designs and technological advancements applied in their making.
Thermo King
The American brand is known for the manufacture of temperature-controlled trucks. These are great for transporting your perishable cargo and delivering them on time and in the right condition. The technological innovation applied by this manufacturer gives you value for money. An example of such a feature is its smart power feature which cuts down 75% fuel costs. Additionally, some of these trucks can be partitioned into various temperature zones and used for hauling goods with different temperature requirements.
Isuzu
Being one of the commonly used trucks in America, Isuzu trucks are a good touch for your business. They have a mileage of up to 375,000 miles making them a reliable option. Also, they have powerful and durable engines and therefore dependable for your delivery business.
