Refrigerated Trailers
This type of trailer is installed with refrigeration systems making it suitable for the transportation of temperature-sensitive goods such as fresh produce, dairy products, flowers, and pharmaceuticals. They are also known as reefer trailers and can be customized with a single layer of temperature to suit the delivery of similar goods or multi-layered temperatures that are perfect for the transportation of goods with different temperature requirements. A multi-temp reefer trailer is economical since you don’t have to source different trailers.
Dry Van Trailer
Just as their name suggests, dry van trailers are also known as dry trailers and are used for hauling dry products. They are fully enclosed making them perfect for hauling delicate, non-perishable goods such as appliances and furniture. Since they are enclosed, you don’t have to worry about spoilage because they offer protection from rain, snow, and extreme heat.
Flatbed Trailers
Flatbeds are simply platforms without walls or roofs, making them perfect for hauling oversized loads and those with abnormal dimensions. They range in sizes which means you can easily get one that best suits your needs. They are created to withstand extremely heavyweights such as construction equipment e.g, bulldozers and cranes.
There are different types of flatbed trailers, for example, those with removable goosenecks and fixed, double drops, and extendable ones thus giving you a wide range to choose from. Loading and unloading is also easy since you can drive onto them, push/pull the load or place it from above or the sides using cranes. It all depends on the nature of the load.
Thermo King
Thermo King is best known for the manufacture of refrigerated trailers. The company manufactures diverse reefers that suit your business be it in the pharmaceutical industry or beauty and cosmetic industry, etc. They have temperatures ranging between -70 to +40 degrees. These trailers also ensure that the temperature is maintained as required thus preventing losses due to temperature-related damages.
Hyundai
Hyundai is a leading manufacturer of trailer vans in America with innovation, customization, and excellence as their main goals. Its trailers are corrosion-free, strong & light, and durable. The company produces heavy-duty dry vans, refrigerated, and flatbed trailers that best suit your business needs.
Great Dane
Great Dane trailers are known to be durable and highly dependable for different heavy hauling tasks. The company manufactures dry vans whose foundations are strong and durable to protect cargo. These dry trailers also have tough roofs and side walls (high corrugated galvanized steel) that withstand all sorts of weather. COOP gives you the opportunity to access Great Dane dry trailer rentals in Columbus based on their availability.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Pharmaceuticals Delivery
Pharmaceuticals and other medical equipment have sensitive temperature requirements. This is why refrigerated trailers are used for their transportation since they provide the required environment during transit. Suppose these products need different temperature requirements, you can opt for a multi-temp reefer trailer.
Appliance Hauling
Appliances are best hauled with dry van trailers since they have enclosed walls and come in different sizes. Large trailers can be used to haul appliances on a large-scale basis and also for long distances.
Construction
Trailers such as flatbeds and pups are used in this industry due to their capability to haul oversized loads. Construction equipment and materials can be comfortably hauled to and from the worksite on such trailers.
How much does it cost to rent a trailer for a week?
It depends on the size and type of trailer rental you are looking for. For instance, a large dry trailer starts from $20 per day while a large flatbed trailer starts from $21 per day.
What size trailer do I need for produce delivery?
Trailers come in different sizes so it depends on how much produce you need to haul. From 24ft, 26ft, to bigger 53ft trailers, you get to choose what best suits your business. You can rent a large reefer trailer with COOP starting from $60 per day and efficiently deliver your produce.
