“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Pick-ups and Deliveries
Dry van trailers can also be used to make pick-ups and deliveries in the city. For example, pup trailers are small and compact, allowing them to easily maneuver urban spaces and make the required pick-up or delivery. In addition, dry van trailers can be used to carry a wide range of freight which makes them ideal for different businesses and transport applications.
Food and Beverage Transportation
While most foods require temperature control during long hauls, dry trailers can be used to transport food and beverages to different distribution points. These could be foods and beverages that don’t always require refrigeration during storage and transportation. Dry vans are quality enough to haul such goods to where they are needed. Depending on the need, businesses can choose the most appropriate size of dry trailers on the COOP website.
Hauling Household Equipment
Most household equipment needs to be protected from the sun and even rain. Also, most of these household items are quite heavy and need heavy-duty trailers to haul them. Dry trailers offer the convenience needed to haul different household equipment, furniture and appliances safely to the new house.
Clothing and Textile Industry
Dry vans can also be used to transport clothes and other textile items. They don't necessarily require temperature control during transportation so, it can be hauled using dry trailers. They are enclosed and as such, don’t risk bad weather like rain or extreme heat which may tamper with the quality of the clothes. Also, most clothing and textile items are transported in bales and bundles, so huge quantities can be transported in one single trip.
Machinery Hauling
Dry trailers are widely used for the transportation of huge machinery. They are mostly heavy duty and hence can easily haul heavy machinery without compromising on efficiency in terms of performance. What’s more, hauling huge and heavy machinery via dry vans reduces possible risks for road transportation since the trailers are fully enclosed. Some of this machinery include building machinery, a big ship, and aircraft parts and construction materials, etc.
