Multiple Temperature Zone Trucks
This type of refrigerated straight truck has an upper hand over the front fixed design. A multiple temperature zone truck presents the capability of shipping goods with different temperature requirements under one roof. The trucks are fitted with more than one control unit within the cargo area.
Metallic Floor
For ease in maintenance and loading metallic floors work best. While shipping farm and dairy produce spillage might occur which might cause bad odors. Metallic floors make the clearing of these messes easy and swift. The most popular material in use for flooring is aluminum. Due to its lightweight, it has little effect on the overall weight of the truck.
Front Fixed
This is the most common type of reefer straight truck that has one temperature control unit in its cargo area. It is used to ship goods that tend to have temperature requirements that are closely related. The cooling unit is placed at the front part of the reefer for ease of access during maintenance.
Wooden Floor
Wooden floors play a crucial role in the safety of goods. It works by improving the quantity of airflow in the cargo area while acting as a shock absorber during transportation. Most of these floors are made of hardwood which is durable and easy to maintain though when compared to metal floors wooden floors are susceptible to rotting if poorly looked after.
Utility
Utility has worked for years in coming up with the best refrigerated straight truck in the market. They are made to cut down on fuel consumption while operating at full capacity. The truck has an aerodynamic design that aims at increasing the speeds making it suitable for both short and long hauls. The streamlined Utility trucks improve not only on the speeds but also on the aesthetic appeal.
Freightliner
Freightliner has been in the lead when it comes to technological innovation. With the user in mind, Freightliner has made it easy for the owners to help in customizing the trucks to fit their day-to-day needs. The level of road visibility assists drivers in maneuvering along with tight spaces on city streets.
Great Dane
Great Dane has been a household name for a significant number of years. Apart from improving performance and decreasing maintenance costs, Great Dane offers sound advice to its consumers on how to safeguard their goods in transit. By using the door sensor and Fleetplus Pro drivers can track the safety of their cargo in real-time. This has prevented losses while reducing operational costs.

Refrigerated straight trucks offer the favorable means by which fresh farm produce and other raw ingredients can reach the restaurants with their integrity intact.
Floriculture Industry
The life of flowers and other ornamental plants can be cut short when handled poorly. Their delicacy makes it hard for their transportation in non-refrigerated trucks. Refrigerated straight trucks ensure that the flowers are transported under favorable conditions that will retain their lushness.
Medical Supplies

Refrigerated straight trucks ensure the longevity of these commodities by controlling the temperature area housing them during transportation.
