Behind Cab Crane Tractor
The tractors have a crane fitted at the back of the cab that works like an extra hand for loading heavy cargo. The control panel for the crane can either be at the driver's cab or outside depending on the manufacturers. The outside panel works best as the user has a better view of the load and the cargo area.
Conventional Cab Tractors
This type of tractor has a long nose design which is brought about by the position of the engine. The engine is situated at the front of the vehicle. The sloping hood works best in streamlining the tractor making it sturdy during high speeds.
Cab Over Engine Tractor
As the name suggests the cab is designed to go over the engine, raising the driver's position. The flat face of the vehicle works best in improving the visibility of the road thus helping in reducing the occurrence of a collision.
Volvo
With the design of Volvo tractors, the driver's comfort is made paramount. The large windshield ensures that there is enough road visibility improving the suitability of the tractor in accomplishing urban deliveries. In addition, the manufacturers have made the tractors driver-friendly with ergonomic designs that ensure the driver's comfort during long hauls.
Peterbilt
Peterbilt has been a player in the tractor industry for a significant amount of years. The reputation keeps growing with the improved performance. The engine is where Peterbilt tractors are renowned. The torque strength allows the shipping of goods through rough terrain. All this is accomplished while also easing the amount of fuel consumed.
Kenworth
Fuel efficiency, durability, and maneuverability are the things businesses tend to look at when settling for a tractor. Kenworth has proven to be the go-to brand in ensuring the survival of your business. Their single axle day cab offers power and reliability in conducting heavy haulings.
