Dry Box Truck
This type of box truck is suitable for transporting dry products such as appliances, parcels, furniture, and equipment. A dry van is simply enclosed and one of the most common methods of delivery. The cargo can be packaged in pallets, boxes, or loosely loaded in the truck before transportation.
Conventional Box Trucks
This is a box truck recognized from its nose-like front, where the engine is usually located in front of the cab area. The advantage of these trucks is that the engine is very much accessible making maintenance and repairs easy. Also, this arrangement makes the driver comfortable. Conventional trucks are strong and suitable for heavy hauling even on rough terrains due to their powerful engines. The downside is that they are rigid making them less flexible in tight areas.
Cabover Engine Box Truck
The cab area of these trucks is perched on the engine and front axle, giving them a flat face. Cab over engine trucks have the advantage of 360 degrees visibility, unlike their conventional counterparts that are limited due to the bonnet. Also, the driver is positioned at a raised position as s/he sits on the engine and is closer to the windscreen. They are flexible and easy to maneuver narrow streets. The disadvantage is that they are quite uncomfortable since the driver sits on the axle and engine.
Hino
Hino is a Japanese company and has its headquarters in Tokyo. This brand has been ranked among the top truck manufacturers in the world thanks to their reliability. Hino mainly produces cab-over trucks that are fuel and environmentally friendly. The company also produces both medium and heavy-duty trucks. Hino trucks are engineered and assembled to give you strong and durable machines making them perfect for different hauling needs.
Freightliner
This brand is well-known for manufacturing box trucks that can be customized to suit various requirements. The box body made by Freightliner is usually spacious giving room to haul large batches of loads. The conventional box truck, for instance, provides the driver with maximum comfort and carries the power to haul a myriad of cargo types. Freightliner trucks also guarantee fuel efficiency thus reducing overall operational costs for your business. The engines are powerful yet consume less fuel, and by the use of innovative technologies, Freightliner has managed to manufacture durable and superior designs.
Scania
Scania trucks are built to ensure high-class performance, reliability and optimize productivity for your business. The L-Series is perfectly suited for urban deliveries which entail multiple delivery stops and keeping a lookout for pedestrians which is made possible by its short cab. The lightweight engine makes it efficient and powerful too.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Appliance Delivery
Box trucks are commonly used in the delivery of appliances. Appliances are delicate and also vulnerable to external elements such as rain which means they have to be enclosed when being transported. A box truck is fully enclosed making them suitable to make such deliveries. You can rent a large straight truck with COOP if you need a reliable commercial vehicle for appliance delivery.
Moving Services
You can also use your box truck rental for your moving business in Detroit. Box trucks come in different sizes that enable you to choose the right one depending on your business operations.
