Heavy Duty
Heavy-duty reefer trailers can be used to transport large and heavy batches of temperature-sensitive cargo. If you need to haul bulky cargo then a heavy-duty reefer trailer would be an efficient way of doing so since these types of trailers have an incredibly great payload capacity. Using a large rental reefer trailer is an economical way of hauling what you need since it reduces the number of trips taken to deliver everything.
Wooden Floor
Refrigerated trailers with a wooden floor are mostly made of hardwood which is very strong and durable. Wooden floors also help to ensure free airflow throughout the trailer’s interior for goods with such requirements. Additionally, wood provides good base support for the goods in transit and acts as a shock absorber. In most cases, the floor is laminated which locks out bad odours and is easy to clean.
Metallic Floor
Other reefer trailers are made of metallic floors which are durable and strong enough to support heavy loads. This makes metallic floors a better alternative for wooden floors. Also, the floor is not easily damaged when the load is dragged along during loading or unloading. Metallic floors are mostly made of steel or aluminium which is resistant to corrosion. They are also smooth which helps with maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. As such, such a reefer trailer would be great for hauling fresh produce.
Multi-temperature Reefer
Most conventional refrigerated trailers distribute even temperature, but others are modified to have multiple temperature compartments. Also known as multi-temp reefer trailers, they are perfect for hauling goods with different temperature requirements. If you need to make multiple deliveries, rent a large multi-temp reefer trailer with COOP and conveniently haul your freight.
