Tandem Axle Tractors
Tandem axle tractors have double axles instead of one. This translates to more wheels and even better, more support when hauling heavier loads. As a result, tandem axle tractors can be used to carry what single axles cannot haul. They are more steady to give the driver more control.
Sleeper Cab Tractors
Sleeper cab tractors are simply tractors with a sleeper area. They offer solutions to drivers who go on long hauls, especially if it will take days and need to rest in between. The cab area is extended to provide a temporary resting place for drivers, hence they can sleep before commencing with the haul.
Single Axle Tractors
A single axle tractor means that there is one drive axle hence single rear wheels on each side of the tractor. One of the major downsides of single axle tractors is that they are not able to haul heavy loads. But on the bright side, they have great maneuverability when compared to tandem axle tractors hence can be used in congested areas.

Delivery Business
Tractors are common in a lot of delivery businesses. Depending on the type of cargo that needs to be transported, a preferred trailer or box is attached to the tractor. This enables them to be applied in different final-mile delivery jobs. The best part is that tractors can be used to haul heavy freight. As such, they are widely used especially for businesses with bulk deliveries to be made.
Landscaping
Some tractors can be used for landscaping applications. Most landscaping needs range from hauling equipment, heavy machinery among other items. Tractors are heavyweight and can carry most of this equipment.
Long Hauling
Tractors with a sleeper are mostly used for hauling goods over long distances. Most of these tractors are made sturdy enough to haul heavy loads over long distances without affecting the performance of the tractor or posing risks to the driver and other motorists on the road. They offer the driver enough space to live off the tractor and ditch external accommodation whenever they need to sleep or rest.
Construction Equipment Hauling
Tractors are a great choice for any equipment hauling needs. They come in different sizes and performance capabilities hence can be used to carry a wide range of equipment. For instance, tractors with double or more drive axles can be used to carry heavier and wider loads while those with a single axle can be used to carry smaller and lighter loads.
Automobile Hauling
Another application for tractors is automobile transportation. Most tractors can be used to carry if not a few, a couple of automobiles at a go. Tractors with tandem drive axles can be used for bigger hauling jobs since they are steady and more convenient.
