Single Axle Sleeper Tractor
A single axle has one set of wheels that are usually attached to single drive axles in the rear. Single axle sleeper tractors are small since they have a shorter wheelbase length when compared to those with double drive axles. As such, they are mostly used for maneuvering tight spaces in the city and are easier to park in small spaces. The downside is that when compared to a tandem axle sleeper tractor, they might not be stable enough when loaded with extremely heavy freight.
Tandem Axle Sleeper Tractor
Unlike single axle sleeper tractors, tandem axle sleeper tractors have two sets of drive axles. As a result, these tractors are more stable and powerful when handling heavy cargo. Even at a high speed, tandem axle tractors are very stable when compared to single axle sleeper tractors.
Volvo
Volvo has some of the best sleeper tractors. These are built as favorable as possible to ease the driving experience. Volvo has installed a position perfect steering wheel that has a unique neck tilt functionality. This is to ensure the driver doesn't strain himself or herself driving. Another great feature is the collision avoidance capability, where there is a number of beeps when the truck is too close to other vehicles on the road.
International
International sleeper tractors are quite notable. They have brought different functionalities and offer a considerable amount of safety and comfort to the driver. The interior dimensions determine the size of the bed they can accommodate including storage spaces and other items. While they are seasonal, you can rent a reliable sleeper tractor in Fontana with COOP and enjoy the many benefits.
Mack
Mack has continued to manufacture different sleeper cabs with varied configurations over the years. While sleeper cabs are mostly about comfort for the driver, Mack has ensured that its different models offer the utmost convenience and functionality to users. Among its inventory, CX 613 vision tractor is among the newest and has some of the best features the company has to offer.
