The specifications listed are based upon COOP's most commonly rented fleet. They are not the exact measurements of all fleet vehicles rented by COOP. Specifications will vary by make, model, and year of trailer.
No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
Sloped Nose
These day cabs have a sloped hood, which is rounder when compared to the traditional ones: it is short, which means that the trailer is longer. So, the sloped-nose day cab offers more cargo space without breaking any length restrictions. The short hood also means that the driver has a better view ahead, hence has more control over the cab.
Conventional Nose
The conventional nose day cab has a longer hood than the sloped nose. This reduces visibility for the driver, making it more difficult to make turns. A major downside of the conventional nose day cabs is that it has a bad fuel mileage.
Hino
Hino is one of the best tractor manufacturing companies. It has been in operation for years and over that time, it has gradually improved quality and ensured to deliver the best tractors to its customers. Most Hino tractors have been regarded as top performers and highly reliable tractors.
Freightliner
Freightliner tractors outshine most of their counterparts when it comes to general performance. It has some of the best tractors on the roads in North America where it is regarded as a top truck manufacturer. Since its establishment in 1942, Freightliner has continued to produce tractors aimed at solving the most pressing needs for both commercial and personal use.
International
When it comes to durability and efficiency, International tractors are the best choice. The company has used different innovative technologies to improve its output and this explains why their tractors are some of the most sought-after tractors. Due to high demand, the company has spread its operations to hundreds of outlets around the world.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Construction Applications
Tandem-axle day cabs can support very heavy loads, and most construction equipment and items are often heavy duty. They can be used to haul these large equipment used in both house and road construction without compromising the safety of the driver or that of other motorists. In addition, tandem-axle day cabs are used for hauling scrap materials from the site after the construction work is done.
Dry Freight Transportation
Tandem-axle day cabs are also perfect for dry freight transportation applications. Being that they are heavy-duty, they make it easy to haul a wide range of dry freight. Depending on the needs of the business, a dry van of preference is attached to the day cab.
Long Hauls
Another advantage of using tandem-axle day cabs is that they can be used for long hauls. They are powerful enough to haul loads for long distances without jeopardizing performance and safety. Also, most manufacturers have ensured that the tandem-axle day cabs have high endurance since they are built to carry heavy items.
Automobile Transportation
Dealerships, vehicle yards, towing businesses, and ports are always transporting vehicles as it is their main business. Tandem-axle day cabs are used to haul these automobiles to where needed, and the good thing is that they can carry many of them at the same time. The double drive axles prevent the cab from swaying when carrying heavy loads and enables the driver to be in control.
Landscaping
Landscaping involves hauling large equipment, trees, and more. Also, some processes like grading involve the removal of rocks and landfills. A tandem-axle day cab is capable of doing all the heavy lifting involved in landscaping. With day cabs for rent on COOP, businesses can acquire as many as required to get the job done.
