Special Features
The specifications listed are based upon COOP's most commonly rented fleet. They are not the exact measurements of all fleet vehicles rented by COOP. Specifications will vary by make, model, and year of trailer.
No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
Straight Truck
A straight truck is made up of two parts, a cab and a body made up of a single unit. This means that all axes are connected to one frame. Being that they are enclosed, straight trucks are best for transportation that need protection from bad weather. Even better, the enclosed box makes it possible to arrange and stack together items during transportation, and this allows room for more cargo as long as it does not exceed the load capacity of the truck.
Box Truck
Box trucks are similar to straight trucks but only differ in sizes. As such, a box truck will carry less cargo and weigh less than a typical straight truck. Even so, box trucks come in different vehicle classes, allowing different possibilities for the kind of cargo that can be hauled.
Reefer Truck
Reefer trucks are simply refrigerator trucks. These could be either box or straight trucks fitted with a refrigerator system. For obvious reasons, the design and functionality of the reefer trucks enable business owners to transport perishable goods. The good thing about reefer trucks is that they don’t necessarily have to be used for carrying perishable goods since the refrigeration system can be switched on or off whenever needed. So, businesses with both dry cargo and perishable goods transportation needs can use reefer trucks instead of having two separate trucks.
Iveco
The number of Iveco trucks on the roads today keeps on rising. This is evidence that Iveco is one of the best truck manufacturers in the world. In addition to manufacturing high-quality trucks, Iveco has a diversified selection of trucks built to suit every transportation needs for most businesses. Iveco has also adapted some of the best innovation and technological advancements, and the company operates as a subsidiary of CNH Industrial.
Navistar International
Having been operating for over 100years, Navistar International understands all the dynamics that go into making a great truck. It is also parent to other companies like IC Bus and is popular for its heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel trucks. Before 1986, the company used the name ‘Navistar Harvester’, and mostly dealt with building construction and agricultural machinery.
AB Volvo
Worldwide, AB Volvo has the biggest number of heavy-duty trucks and is a parent to other companies including Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Trucks, and Renault Trucks, among others. The company is known for the manufacture of some of the best trucks worldwide, and while it is headquartered in Sweden, it has different production facilities in 19 different countries.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Heavy Hauling
As mentioned earlier, each truck is made differently. Light-duty trucks are made to haul lighter cargo, but heavy-duty trucks can haul huge and heavy loads. A lot of business owners, especially those in construction, entertainment, manufacturing and production, and so on need to haul heavy equipment and items on a daily basis. While a good heavy-duty truck will get the work done, COOP offers a wide selection of these trucks for Fort Worth business owners.
Dry Cargo Transportation
Retailers and other businesses need to transport dry cargo. Trucks are the best bet to carry out such tasks since they are fully enclosed and will haul the cargo safely to the expected destination. Whether you need to customize your truck depending on the nature of your business, there are few to no limitations.
Transportation of Perishable Goods
Retail stores and restaurants that need to keep their goods and food fresh use reefer trucks to keep them that way even during transportation. Reefer trucks offer the perfect conditions for temperature-sensitive goods to thrive in, even in the worst climatic conditions.
