Dry Straight Truck
As the name suggests, dry straight trucks are often rented by businesses that need to ship dry cargo. Standard dry straight trucks have maximum load capacities of 33,000 lbs. Oftentimes, these trucks come in different cargo area sizes which make it easy for individuals to choose what is enough for their business demands.
Refrigerated Straight Truck
Also known by some as reefer trucks, refrigerated straight trucks have refrigeration units to control the temperature of the cargo. These come in two major flooring types; the metallic floor and wood floor format, which dictate the types of goods that can be hauled. They also have multi-temp and single-temp configurations which also play a huge role in how the trucks are used.
Isuzu
Isuzu is one of the world’s top manufacturers of medium-duty diesel engines. These trucks offer increased visibility and maneuverability which is a vital advantage for most drivers on the roads. The company boasts an impressive fleet of trucks such as the Elf (light duty), Forward (medium duty), and Giga heavy-duty trucks just to mention a few.
Hino
Hino brand straight trucks have a reputation for reliability and safety which has made the company a favorite for many. These trucks are fitted with tons of smart features to help create smooth rides for drivers regardless of the route. Most Hino straight trucks are built to suit urban deliveries or busy loading docks.
Freightliner
Freightliner is popular for models such as the M2 106 straight truck which is a best-selling medium-duty truck in North America. Overall, Freightliner trucks are manufactured to enhance visibility and tight turning radius on busy city roads. They also have spacious driver cabs, as well as the infamous aerodynamic design which is notorious for fuel efficiency.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Frozen Food Delivery
To deliver frozen food, the cargo area temperature has to be regulated and checked throughout the entire trip. With both single or multiple temperature zone reefer straight trucks, business owners in Grand Junction are able to efficiently deliver frozen food as required. With the COOP app, it is easy to choose and rent a reefer straight truck of choice for all food delivery duties.
Deliveries
Because of enhanced visibility and maneuverability, straight trucks are very common with delivery businesses. The cab-over-engine design is perfect for urban errands as the driver can easily maneuver in narrow residential streets and other crowded parts of the city. Most importantly, business owners in Grand Junction need the right trucks on standby to ensure that the last mile is delivered efficiently.
Appliance Hauling
The fully enclosed cargo area of straight trucks makes them a great option for appliance hauling. While most appliances have high-tech components, it’s more important than ever to ensure appliances are protected from the elements during transit. Large 26ft straight trucks can be used to transport appliances in bulk.
The best straight truck to haul medical supplies is a refrigerated one with a metallic floor. It provides the required temperatures for transporting such items and the metallic floor helps to maintain that environment.
