Wooden floor
Some reefer trucks could have a wooden floor in the cargo space area for different reasons. For instance, acts as a shock absorber and provides good support for delicate cargo especially on rough roads. They are however not strong enough to carry very heavy goods and might wear out faster than metallic ones.
Steel Floor
The truck’s floor can also be steel-made which is strong and durable. This means you can transport extra heavy cargo without ruining the floor. Renting such a truck guarantees long usage as it is also rust-free, making it safe. Additionally, steel floors are easy to clean thus promoting hygiene.
Single Temperature Trucks
Refrigerated trucks can be customized differently. There are those whose temperature is fixed, in that all the products are transported in the same temperatures. This type of truck is suitable for carrying poultry, beef, dairy products, etc which require almost similar temperatures. These can be packaged in different boxes but carried in the same reefer box truck.
Multiple Temperature Trucks
This is installed with different or multiple temperature ranges. This means you can use it to transport various products with diverse temperature needs making them efficient. Fruit business owners can use multi-temp trucks since fruits have various needs. Some need extremely cold temperatures while others, relatively warmer.
Thermo King
Thermo King is indeed, “king” in the automotive industry. The brand is commonly known for the manufacture of refrigerated trucks They have diverse reefers to suit your business with some units fitted with single temperature systems while others have multiple temperature zones. Thermoking would perfectly suit your fresh fruit and vegetable produce business thanks to its versatility.
