Dry Van Trailers
This type of trailer is usually cuboid-shaped which means that the cargo being transported is always enclosed. Dry van trailers are versatile opening different possibilities for many businesses. They are designed to carry goods packaged in either boxes, palletized, or even loose. Dry van trailers are perfect for your appliance or electronic business or any less-than-truckload (LTL) shipment.
Flatbed Trailers
These are open deck platforms with neither side walls nor a roof. They are perfect for transporting wide, oversized, and heavy loads such as containers, logs, bulldozers, etc. Generally, flatbeds are used while hauling cargo with abnormal dimensions and shapes. Due to their open features, they are easy to load and unload from any direction. They are, however, vulnerable to rain and other external conditions, making them less ideal to carry goods that can be destroyed by weather conditions. Oftentimes, flatbed trailers range between 48-53 feet in length.
Pup Trailers
Pup trailers are smaller in size compared to other flatbed trailers and range between 26-29 feet in length. Due to their smaller size, pup trailers can maneuver in packed streets and they are, therefore, preferably used in urban centers where there’s traffic congestion. Apart from that, they can also be used for deliveries in tight driveways that prove difficult for bigger trailers. They also make LTL transportation trips easier to actualize since they can take on any route, and they can easily access construction sites that have limited accessibility. Some have special configurations such as dump pup trailers mainly used to carry construction materials.
Utility
This company is based in Los Angeles and is known for the manufacture of highly dependable trailers. The brand produces fuel-efficient trailers that are great for businesses looking to increase their productivity. This is made possible through the aerodynamic features present in most Utility trailers. The company manufactures a wide range of trailer types suited for business needs, eg, drop necks and double decks that can haul up to 80,000lbs.
Hyundai
One of the biggest advantages of using Hyundai trailers is the fact that they are engineered to maximize important factors such as safety and reliability. The trailers are customized for different hauling tasks which is why they are common on many highways today. While the availability of trailer rentals on COOP is seasonal, you can join the platform and find the available Hyundai trailer rentals in Indianapolis.
Wabash
Wabash National Corporation is a leading company in the manufacture of trailers which is actualized by their advanced technological innovations. The trailers have reliable performance capabilities, customized to fit your preferences. Some of their incredible units include DuraPlate dry vans, reefers, tankers, and flatbeds (steel, aluminum, and combo). Wabash flatbed trailers vary in size with variations such as drop decks that come with guaranteed durability and reduced operating costs.
