Wood floor
Wood-type flooring is still widely used for a number of reasons. The most significant advantage of using a wooden floor is that it improves air circulation. This type of trailer is commonly used to transport produce.
Metal floor
This is the polar opposite of hardwood flooring. If your cargo in transit does not require air circulation, then metal flooring is the way to go. The advantage of metal floors is that they retain cold much better than wood floors.
Front Fixed
A front fixed reefer trailer has one diesel-powered cooling component that can be easily adjusted to the most favorable temperature. This single unit is in charge of the entire room's temperature settings. These refrigerated trailers are designed to transport commodities with similar properties. It is not uncommon to see it transporting only one type of commodity.
Multiple temperature zones
Unlike standard reefers, which have a single refrigeration unit that controls the temperature throughout the trailer, a multiple temperature zone trailer is outfitted with several units. This enables the transportation of multiple commodities at the same time, each of which may require a different set temperature.
Wabash
Wabash refrigerator trailers are well-known for their durability, fuel efficiency, and large cargo capacity. Furthermore, they are designed to ensure cargo safety. The exterior is designed to be corrosion-resistant and durable.
Utility
Utility trailers have always advanced in technology over the years. They are refrigerated trailers that are safe, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance. Most of them have multiple temperature zones inside the cargo area, allowing the shipment of a variety of goods at the same time.
Thermo King
Thermo King is the brand to look for when it comes to task-specific refrigerated trailers. They are creative in terms of designing large trailers to meet specific shipping requirements. The refrigerated trailers have air suspension, which ensures the safe transport of goods.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Flower Transportation Flowers, like many other perishable goods, are negatively affected by excessive heat. A refrigerated trailer aids in controlling the temperature at which flowers are transported, giving the flowers a better chance of surviving a long journey.
Transportation Of Produce
Refrigerated trailers are commonly used to complete this task. Because produce is perishable, it is difficult to transport it in any other way than a refrigerated trailer. This way, one can be sure that the goods will arrive while they are still fresh. The refrigerated trailer ensures the temperature remains favorable throughout the trip.
Hauling Personal Care Products
Temperature control is critical in the transportation of most personal care products. They are extremely fragile and are vulnerable to high temperatures which tamper with their quality. A refrigerated trailer is ideal for this type of transportation to avoid changes in chemical composition caused by external temperature changes.
