Sleeper Tractor
Sleeper tractors are specifically built for long journeys. They have longer cabins manufactured with a resting area behind the driver’s seat. This is effective in that the driver can always take breaks and comfortably rest inside the tractor when making long trips. It helps to cut costs that would be used to pay for external accommodation.
Day Cab Tractor
The opposite of sleeper cab tractors, day cab tractors are standard and built with no sleeper berth. They are made for day trips and although they have a smaller cabin area with no sleeper, they are built for heavy hauling purposes.
Single Axle Tractor
This is a tractor attached to one drive axle at the back. This means it has a single set of wheels and although it is used for heavy hauling, it does not have the best stability at high speeds. On the upside, it is perfect for hauling heavy loads in crowded places because of great maneuverability thanks to a short wheelbase length.
Tandem Axle Tractor
Tandem axle tractors have two rear-drive axles which increase the number of wheels to two. The extra pair of wheels increase stability even at high speeds. It also boosts support for extremely heavy loads that can’t be comfortably transported using single axle tractors.
Freightliner
Freightliner tractors are built to deliver efficiency and high performance to users. Freightliner has continued to produce high-quality, fuel-economy tractors thanks to innovative technology. Freightliner has also managed to stay ahead of its competitors and is among the brands with the highest number of tractors on the highways today.
Volvo
Volvo has built a good number of outstanding tractors which is part of the reason for its popularity. Volvo tractors have some of the most sought-after qualities including comfort, fuel efficiency, low emissions, and great performance features. Volvo tractors are simply built to make all trips smooth and comfortable for the driver.
International
International tractors are popular for both reliability and outstanding performance. The company offers a wide range of tractors diversified for different hauling needs. Through the latest technology, International has managed to manufacture tractors with incredible interior features and designs. Also, when it comes to strength and cost efficiency, International tractors are a perfect option for businesses.
