Wood Floored Trailers
When choosing a refrigerated trailer with wood flooring, it should be noted that these are perfect for keeping perishable goods stored because the flooring allows for good circulation of air within the cargo area. Wood floors are also great for absorbing the shock that the truck may feel while in transit on rough roads. Your products will be protected from damage through the duration of their travels.
Metal Floored Trailers
Metal flooring is another popular choice for refrigerated trailers, mainly because of its high durability. In most cases, the metal flooring is produced with aluminum which is a lightweight versatile material. Aluminum can also keep the overall weight of the vehicle low which makes handling and travel more convenient, especially for the efficiency of allowing more items to be stored in the cargo area.
Flush Mount Control Panel Trailers
Some trailers come with the feature of temperature control panels that can be placed in different areas of the trailer. Flush mount control panels are placed inside the cargo area close to the back doors, allowing for the easy configuration of temperature control settings once the vehicle has been loaded and is full. Some trailers also come with a surface mount control panel which allows the temperature features to be controlled from the exterior of the vehicle. Depending on the needs and specifications of the cargo your business is hauling, one of the two options may be a better option than the other.
Great Dane
Great Dane manufacturers each of their trailers with the need of the consumer in mind. Each of their refrigerated trailers is produced in a way where it is both dependable and flexible. Innovative technology allows the lightweight body to be easily handled and configured. The temperature control system is also extremely high quality to ensure well-balanced temperate management throughout the cargo area.
Fruehauf
Fruehauf trailers are well-known trailers, popularly used on the roads for their outstanding and innovative features. Their trailers manufacturing process involves the installation of features that bring about high levels of safety, productivity, and profitability. While being driven, Fruehauf trailers also ensure a smooth and enjoyable driving experience.
Doepker Industries
The trailers that Doepker produces have evolved greatly over the years, making them a highly sought after brand for businesses of all sorts. Longevity is taken into consideration with the trailer’s production, ensuring many years of high-quality use for each of their vehicles. These lightweight trailers are known for their ability to improve efficiencies by allowing a larger amount of cargo to be transported.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Transporting Perishable Food Items
Food supply chains rely heavily on the capabilities of refrigerated trailers for a wide variety of food products including meat, dairy, produce, beverages, and other frozen food items. The goods can be kept in their required state, even through the transportation process. As a result, massive spoilage is kept out of the question which could lead to large losses of money.
Transporting Medical Equipment
Medical equipment has very stringent requirements for the temperature and atmosphere at which it must be stored to ensure its usability. Oftentimes, it’s critical for equipment to be kept at specified temperatures whilst also ensuring everything is securely fastened so that it doesn’t become damaged on its way to its final destination.
Transporting Personal Care Products
Personal care products such as cosmetics are often produced with the use of different chemicals. These chemicals must be kept at specific temperatures in order to ensure that no chemical alterations take place which could ruin or change the state of the product before it reaches the consumer. Keeping the integrity of all products intact is critical, thus the importance of using refrigerated trucks to transport these products becomes apparent.
