Personal Care Products Transportation
Apart from perishable goods and food, refrigerated box trucks are used to carry goods that are highly sensitive to extreme temperatures. Some personal care products require temperature control during transportation, and this is where reefer box trucks come into play. Depending on the nature of the product, the temperature can be controlled to hot or cold. For example, products like lipstick can melt when exposed to extremely hot weather.
Transportation of Meat
Meat is perishable and to get it from the slaughterhouse to the distribution point, there will be a need for temperature control. Reefer box trucks are used to transport meat under cold temperature in order to prevent it from going bad.
Dairy Product Transportation
Reefer box trucks are also used for the transportation of dairy products. For example, yogurt, milk, cheese, and chocolate are products that need temperature control to keep them fresh and for chocolates, from melting.
Also, some tobacco products require temperature control during transportation. This is to protect them from bad weather and humidity which devalues and possibly spoils them. For instance, cigarettes need temperature control to keep them fresh as well as maintain their quality.
Some medical equipment needs to be stored under specific temperatures to function well. This equally applies when it comes to transportation. Luckily, most reefer box trucks come in different temperature ranges which are suitable for the transportation of this equipment.
