A refrigerated straight truck with a metallic floor is strong and long-lasting. Steel or aluminum, both of which are corrosion-free, are used by manufacturers. The metallic floor is strong enough to support a large payload. Because metal is smooth and easy to clean, it is ideal for transporting food and pharmaceuticals.
Wood acts as a shock absorber providing the comfort and safety needed for cargo transportation. It also provides good base support and ensures air circulation in the cargo area. The type of wood commonly used in these reefer straight trucks is hardwood as it is durable. The disadvantage of a wooden floor is that it is prone to rotting and mildew if not properly maintained.
Multiple Temperature Zone
While most refrigerated straight trucks have units that blow even air into the cargo space, others have refrigeration compartments fitted in different positions. These function differently to allow the efficient transportation of cargo with varying temperature requirements.
This is one of the most well-known manufacturers of temperature-controlled trucks. Because of their unique configurations that deliver clean and sustainable solutions, the trucks are highly reliable and cost-effective. Solar panels and EON batteries are installed on the trucks to increase reliability. Whether you need local deliveries or long-distance transport, Thermoking has you covered. These trucks keep the required temperatures by improving airflow and insulating properly.
Utility has a selection of dependable reefer straight trucks for rent with COOP. To prevent corrosion over a long period of usage, the floors are made of high-quality aluminum material. The walls and doors are also improved with features that ensure thermal efficiency as well as moisture-barring materials. Thick walls also ensure the safety of the cargo in transit, not forgetting the aerodynamic design which makes the trucks fuel-efficient.
Great Dane is engineered to maximize productivity through thermal efficiency. This brand has implemented technological innovations such as thermo-guard liners with antimicrobial configurations, which protect your cargo from bacteria and mold. The metallic floor of the Great Dane refrigerated box truck is non-corrosive and strong enough to withstand heavy loads.

Refrigerated straight/box trucks are used by pharmaceutical companies to deliver temperature-sensitive items. Most of the equipment used cannot withstand harsh temperatures, hence requiring a temperature-controlled environment during transportation.
Reefers are vehicles that transport fresh produce from farms to local markets. Animal products, such as meat, must be stored in frozen conditions, making reefer trucks ideal for transporting such cargo. Rent a refrigerated straight truck with COOP today if you need an efficient way of making your fresh produce deliveries.
Flowers are delivered using reefers. They are highly perishable and can be easily destroyed by high temperatures or microorganisms. These trucks transport flowers from flower farms to the required destinations under controlled temperatures.
