Single-Temperature Zone
A single-temperature refrigeration straight truck is any type of reefer with a refrigeration unit to keep freight at the desired temperature. In addition to the refrigeration unit, this single-temperature refrigerated straight truck comes with insulation to help maintain temperature levels regardless of outside conditions, making it ideal for transporting large amounts of frozen cargo in one trip.
Multiple-Temperature Zones Straight Truck
If you’re transporting sets of cargo that require different levels of storage temperature, then the multiple-temperature zone variation of the refrigerated straight truck is the variation for you. The multiple-temperature zone reefer has a refrigerator unit with advanced cooling technology, as well as partitions to separate the different levels of temperature.
Insulation Straight Truck
Insulation straight trucks are a form of temperature-modifying trucks that lack a traditional refrigeration unit. Despite this, they are still considered to be a variation of a reefer due to all of the thick insulation they have that keeps cargo cool for short periods of time, making it ideal for non-perishables that are temperature-sensitive.
Freightliner
Freightliner manufactures quality straight trucks like the Freightliner M2 series. Most of the reefer trucks under this brand are paired with Thermo King refrigeration units to give you the best-in-class refrigerated straight trucks for your refrigerated transportation needs. Providing the world with different trucks since 1942, this manufacturer has built a trustworthy reputation over the years.
Wabash
Wabash National was started back in 1985 and has grown to be one of America’s largest manufacturers of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems. With models like the Wabash Arcticlite and the Wabash MSC Reefer, which are made to be lighter and more fuel-efficient, you can count on Wabash as your next reliable rental for a refrigerated straight truck.
Utility
Utility is a great manufacturer of different types of trailers, but they’re also a great manufacturer of single and multi-temperature refrigeration units. With over a century of experience perfecting their craft since their start in 1914, making them a great choice for your next reefer rental with their Utility 3000R and 3000R Multi-Temp.
