Cab Over Engine Box Trucks
As the name suggests, the engine is often located under the cab area. The front part of this vehicle is flat therefore providing the driver with proper visibility. Additionally, COEs have a turning radius of up to 40% making them suitable for transport services in areas where driveways are narrow or in populated neighborhoods.
Conventional Box Trucks
These trucks have their engines at the front of the cab area which makes them easy to access during maintenance and repair. Additionally, these engines are usually powerful making them suitable for long-distance hauling and carrying heavy cargo. The downside of these trucks is that they limit proper visibility for the driver.
Refrigerated Box Trucks
Apart from moving dry goods, box trucks can also be fitted with refrigeration systems that enable you to move cargo that needs extremely cold temperatures. For instance, if you need to transport fresh produce or frozen foods then you will require a truck installed with refrigeration systems.
Isuzu
The Tokyo-based company manufactures a wide variety of trucks best suited for your business or need. The trucks are powerful making them a good choice for hauling large cargo for long distances. Seeing that this is a popular brand in Raleigh, renting it becomes easy since its common.
Ford
The brand offers different types of trucks such as the E-Series cutaway which has the capacity of up to 22,000lbs and a powerful engine. The Ford box trucks come with either automatic or manual transmissions. They could be light-duty or medium-duty providing different possibilities based on what you need to transport.

Hauling Dry Freight
Box trucks are the best option for transporting dry cargo such as clothing, building materials, and non-perishable goods. A dry van is a type of box truck used in this case. It is often enclosed, fitted with boxes or pallets without temperature controls. With the perfect-fit box truck, you can safely haul cargo to its destination while protecting it from theft and damage by harsh weather conditions.
Fresh Produce
Transportation of fresh produce is made possible by the use of reefer trucks that have temperature-regulated cargo areas. Renting such a truck is necessary if your business entails fresh produce, as it guarantees freshness for your goods. And you can rent a reefer truck for your business with COOP.
