From the fleet of refrigerated box truck rentals on COOP, there are some with a metallic floor. The metallic floor is suitable for transporting frozen items. The flat surface ensures there is no air circulation or escape through the bottom. This ensures that the items being hauled don’t get chilled and get spoilt.
In contrast with metallic-floor reefer trucks, wooden floor refrigerated box trucks are built to allow airflow within the cargo area. When items are placed on the floor of the truck, they leave spaces in-between because of how the trucks are designed. These spaces are responsible for air circulation during transportation.
Front-fixed reefer box truck designs are those with a cooling unit fixed at the front of the truck. The cooling unit is run by either diesel or obtains its power from the engine to create a cooling effect in the cargo area.
A multi-temperature zone reefer box truck gives you the option to carry items that require different temperature settings at the same time. As opposed to reefer trucks with single temperature features that keep the cargo area temperature steady allowing you to only carry goods with similar temperature requirements.
Freightliner has a good deal of refrigerated box trucks on the road today. A cooling system engineered with simple parts makes it easy to maintain and repair. Major parts in Freightliner trucks are easy to access during service and this increases their uptime. The engine is superbly designed and in return, has an impressive fuel economy.

Most personal products like cosmetics and beauty products lose their value when exposed to heat for a long period of time. For instance, some items such as lipsticks melt under high heat. To avoid business losses from such risks, refrigeration is vital during transportation.
Foods like meat and fish are often frozen in order to increase their shelf life. During transportation, it is necessary to employ refrigeration units with temperatures below 40 0 C. By joining COOP, you gain access to a long list of trucks efficient for different tasks.
Refrigerated trucks are also used for produce delivery. Produce is highly perishable, so once it is ready to transport, it needs to be refrigerated. Rent yourself a reefer box truck if you have a similar business in Raleigh, NC.
