Some refrigerated trailers are built with a wooden floor. This type of floor is meant to allow circulation for the goods in transit. While some types of cargo require refrigeration during transportation, they also need air circulation. The biggest disadvantage of wooden floors is that they are not durable, and tend to get scratches over time.
Metallic floor reefer trailers on the other hand are durable. This type of flooring seals off air from the outside, such that it doesn’t allow for air circulation like with the wooden floors. It creates a flat surface that makes it easy to organize items in the cargo area.

Transporting flowers in bulk will require regulated temperatures as flowers are regarded as perishable goods. Also, high heat and humidity may not be favorable for flowers during transportation, and that is why reefer trailers are used. They offer a cool environment for the flowers to be transported in, keeping them fresh until arrival. Rent a 28-footer refrigerated trailer and efficiently deliver fresh flowers to your customers.
