No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
A single axle has one rear drive axle on each side. This reduces the wheelbase length, making single axle sleeper tractors ideal for maneuvering through small spaces. They are also sufficient in transporting commodities that do not require too much of a big space in transportation. On the downside, since they are attached to a single drive axle on each side, they might not be steady when hauling extremely heavy loads.
A tandem axle tractor, on the other hand, has two drive axles. This feature helps in the handling of heavy cargo. Apart from hauling a heavy load, it has the capability of being more stable as it cruises at a high speed. The extra axle also enables the tractor to withstand the harshness of the road.
When it comes to long-distance travel, comfort at the wheel is key for all sleeper tractor drivers. The tractors from Kenworth are designed to bring about enjoyment while driving. In addition to that, fuel efficiency is part of the overall plan.
With technological advancements, Peterbilt sleeper tractors are made to ensure maximum comfort for the driver. No matter the road condition nor the weather conditions, the sleeper tractor ensures safety and high performance. The exterior is made in a streamlined manner to ensure that it cuts through the air and reduces resistance hence achieving high speeds.
Volvo has brought to the market a number of great sleeper tractors. In some of their vehicles, there are advanced functionalities. There are beepers that indicate if the tractor is on a collision course. In the drivers' cab, there is ample space so as to ensure comfortability and easy maneuvering. The steering wheel can be easily drawn closer or retracted so as to ensure the driver is as at ease while driving.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
The sleeper cab design is built to accommodate the driver during long hauls. Such that, you can have more than one driver to operate the tractor at different periods of the journey. This allows the drivers to take turns and eventually deliver the freight on time. If you need to haul freight over a long distance, you can rent the sleeper tractor you desire with COOP.
Oftentimes, construction requires a large amount of building supplies. Sleeper tractors are modified for different heavy hauling needs, this includes large equipment and machinery used in construction. A good sleeper tractor is the best way to haul the heavy equipment and materials used in construction. Whether you need to move supplies to the site or clear the site after the job is done, having the right sleeper tractor ensures you get it done efficiently.
