Lowboys
This type of flatbed is a semitrailer usually designed with two drops on the deck, one after the gooseneck and the other before the wheels. This makes the trailer drop low enough to haul tall and heavy equipment such as bulldozers. This design makes them ideal for hauling tall freight that cannot be transported on standard flatbeds.
Removable Goosenecks
This type of flatbed trailer has a detachable front that allows it to drop off to the ground and form a ramp. The part makes it easy for loading and unloading cargo. It is also used for hauling large equipment that would not fit in an enclosed trailer.
Stretch RNG Trailers
This is a type of gooseneck trailer that is collapsible to enable easy loading and unloading of cargo. It is also referred to as folding RNG and is also used for hauling heavy equipment. And just like the name, the deck stretches to create more space for cargo.
Thermo King
Thermo king trailers are efficient for different business needs thanks to their fuel-economy advantage. In addition, the company emphasizes on reliability and performance which makes their trailers some of the most sought-after. Some Thermo King flatbed trailers are also fitted with reefer containers for transporting temperature-sensitive goods.
Vanguard
Vanguard flatbeds are designed for premium performance with valuable features that make them unique. They have high engine capacities which enable efficient long-distance hauling. Vanguard trailers are low-maintenance and are built with high-quality steel and aluminum materials.
Wabash
Wabash National is one of the leading automotive trailer manufacturers. The company has created a good name for itself because of the use of innovative technology and innovation to develop customer-driven solutions. It manufactures flatbed trailers with a combination of quality, workmanship, and reliability. Wabash flatbed trailers are powerful with high engine capacities. Their selection also includes aluminum flatbeds, drop decks, combo, and steel decks that maximize capacity and lower operating costs.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Construction
Flatbeds are mainly used in construction applications since they are rugged and most of the equipment and machinery used in construction is super heavy. While most of these items are wide and tall, they are best-transported via flatbeds that have non-limited space and are easy to load.
Appliance Hauling
Flatbeds are also used for the transportation of large appliances. Appliances that need to be transported are packed in trailer containers and hauled perfectly on flatbeds. The deck provides stable base support where the trailers are loaded.
Automobile Hauling
Flatbed trailers are used for hauling vehicles and other automobiles. Whether you need to transport them from the port or the dealership, having a flatbed trailer rental will get the job done. Even towing companies use flatbed trailers to move cars to the garage. Since some flatbed trailers are designed with ramps, it becomes easy to load and unload these automobiles.
