Metallic Floor
The cargo area can be made of metal materials. This material is durable and does not suffer severe marks and scratches like the wooden floor. Also, the surface is flat and this leaves no space for air to enter from the outside.
Wooden Floor
With these types of refrigerated trailers, the cargo area is made of a wooden floor. This floor is designed to leave spaces in between to enable air circulation. Hence, they are commonly used for hauling temperature-sensitive goods that require some airflow.
Multiple Temperature Zone
Multiple temperature zone reefer trailers have different temperature regulation controls. Such that the cargo area can be set to have different temperature ranges. Multi-temp zone reefer trailers are therefore used for hauling goods with different temperature needs.

Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Food Delivery
Since most foodstuffs and produce like dairy products, vegetables, fruits, some beverages, and other frozen foods are perishable. Hence, businesses use refrigerated trailers for their transportation. The temperature can be regulated to keep them fresh all the way to their destination.
Flower Delivery
Transporting flowers in bulk will require regulated temperatures as flowers are regarded as perishable goods. High heat and humidity may not be favorable for flowers during transportation, and that is why reefer trailers are used. They offer a cool environment for the flowers to be transported in and allow for temperature regulation depending on the type of flowers.
Medical Applications
In the medical field, reefer trailers are used to maintain most medical equipment as this helps to retain proper functionality. Since every item operates under specific temperature ranges, multiple-temp zone reefer trailers can be used.
Fine Art and Antiques
Most fine art and antiques require temperature regulation to maintain their value. Because of that, they need a certain level of care during transportation to prevent them from getting devalued from the humidity. Unwanted shrinkage or expansion may occur to some art pieces which is why temperature is often regulated when being transported.
