Double Drops
Known by some as lowboy trailers, double drop trailers come in varying lengths from 24 ft to 29.6 ft. Built with high decks at both the front and rear of these trailers, a well is created that can haul cargo much taller than regulations will allow being carried on a standard flatbed, such as a crane or earth mover. The typical double drop can carry up to 40,000 lbs, which makes it a great choice if your business in Stamford needs to haul especially large or heavy cargo.
Extendable Double Drop
With the same basic design as double drops but an ability to extend the deck, extendable double drops are built to handle more cargo than a standard double drop. The decks on these trailers can extend in lengths from 29 ft to 50 ft, making it a great option to haul even larger or heavier equipment than a standard double drop can carry.
Great Dane
Great Dane was founded in 1900 in Savannah, Georgia, and is known for engineering high-quality flatbed trailers. As one of the largest manufacturers of various different types and models of trailers, their long history has earned them respect in the industry for their dependable products. When you rent a Great Dane flatbed trailer from the COOP app, you can rest assured that your cargo is riding on over a century of experience and craftsmanship.
Hyundai
Hyundai Translead is the leading manufacturer of dry and refrigerated van trailers, flatbeds, chassis, and dollies in North America. Their focus on R&D and innovation has led to a special hot dip steel galvanizing process for the structural steel components of their HT model, which provides these Hyundai flatbed trailers with strength and dependability that ensures the heaviest of heavy loads will ride safely on your journey.
Utility
Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company is the oldest and third largest flatbed trailer manufacturer in America. With all of that experience put into every product, their trailers have become known among those who use them as extremely high quality, versatile and dependable. The 4000 AE model flatbed trailer has the strength of steel with the lightweight of aluminum, giving it a higher strength but lower weight than competitors. If fuel efficiency or low maintenance and operational costs are an important factor in your business, Utility flatbed trailers are the right choice.
Vanguard
Vanguard National Trailer Corporation has earned a reputation for making flatbed trailers that represent long-term quality and resilience. Their models are available in either lightweight steel VSF or aluminum models. Despite the difference in material, both boast an 80,000 lbs distributed frame rating, even though the aluminum option weighs a full two tons less. Known for giving financial savings for customers and long lives of trouble-free performance, Vanguard trailers are tough enough to get the job done while light enough to give substantial savings on fuel costs.
Wabash
Transcraft by Wabash National focuses on increased efficiency and saving weight (and your pocketbook) where they can. By removing weight where it isn’t necessary but keeping the strength where it counts, Wabash uses unique design processes to ensure their flatbed trailers can carry the load while saving you money. With a focus on load flexibility, fuel efficiency, reliability, and uptime, the flatbed trailers from Transcraft by Wabash National can keep your cargo moving more efficiently with less downtime (and costs) for maintenance.

We often hear terms like "drayage" and "cartage" being thrown around. Still, many people find themselves scratching their heads when discussing their differences in the trucking industry. Let's clear things up and discuss the differences between drayage and cartage.
Looking for ways to maximize stops at the pump when hauling goods on commercial trailers? When transporting loads, every mile counts, and fuel costs can significantly impact the bottom line. Finding ways to improve fuel efficiency is crucial, which is where trailer skirts (edge skirts or trailer side skirts) come in. These aerodynamic panels attach to the underside of trailers, and though they seem small, they offer big benefits for trailers.
Need a hand with the heavy lifting? In the world of commercial trucking, efficiency is king. Whether you're hauling groceries, construction materials, or anything in between, time is money. That's where liftgates for trailers come in – they're game-changers for streamlining deliveries and keeping your business running smoothly. Choosing the right liftgate can make all the difference in productivity, so you'll want to make sure you are considering everything when renting trailers with liftgate options.
