Step Deck Flatbed
The step-deck or drop deck flatbed is divided into two platforms that are at different levels. The platform at the front is higher and shorter than the rear one. Measuring up to 10 feet, the shorter platform acts as an area for shipping complementary objects to the main road. For example, the rear deck might be loaded with a concrete mixer while the front desk might be loaded with bags of cement. The difference in height makes it possible for the shipment of goods with varying heights on one trip.
Cabover Flatbed
These types of flatbeds are designed to offer optimal safety for the drivers. The raised driver cabin makes it possible for the user to have a better view of the road. This helps in the ease of maneuvering along meandering urban city streets.
Logging Body
The design of the trucks makes it low and long enough to allow easy transportation of huge cargo. These are especially used in the landscaping industry to haul logs after clearing is done. To strengthen the platform's capability, it is fitted with several rear axles. This not only boosts the strength but also ensures the sturdiness of the entire vehicle. They also boast reinforcement tools that help to keep loads in place.
International
International strives to be a game-changer in the trucking industry. With the ever-increasing truck line, International offers light to heavy-duty trucks that can ensure great performance and reliability. For example, the HV Series is designed to withstand the toughest terrains. While executing laborious tasks the trucks also cater to the driver's needs. The cabin is designed to offer great comfort and sufficient legroom.
Great Dane
Great Dane's mission is to offer the best conditions to complete a job in the best way possible. By using aluminum as the primary material on their flatbed trucks, the durability and performance of the truck are guaranteed. The load weight capacity is also improved thus making the trucks efficient for heavy freights.
Mack
For any serious worker, all Mack flatbed truckers are designed to cater to the roughest job demands. The trucks offer a compact exterior at the driver's cab while housing a comfortable interior with updated ergonomic designs. The brand has invested heavily in engine performance. The integrated powertrain ensures no job too hard for a Mack truck.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Landscaping Equipment
Flatbed trucks can be used in moving most landscaping equipment given that they are too large to fit in a dry van enclosure. The platform provides a wide surface for the large items to lay without hindrance from an enclosed design. Find a flatbed truck of your choice by renting with COOP.
Heavy Hauls
The dimensions of flatbed trucks are quite large. In addition, the chassis is reinforced to ensure the sustainability of ferrying heavy loads. Flatbed trucks are often used at construction sites to haul heavy objects and machinery.
Construction Equipment
The flatbed platform in most cases is made from either aluminum or steel to offer toughness and durability. Scrap metals are often transported using a flatbed truck because they can cause a lot of damage to the walls of a dry van truck. Flatbed trucks also offer a convenient way of loading the metals and other equipment used in construction.
What size flatbed truck do I need to move a container?
Flatbed trucks come in various dimensions going up to 48 feet. Depending on the size of your freight container you are free to settle for the flatbed that fits you perfectly.
