Single Axle Sleeper Tractor
A single axle sleeper tractor is a tractor with a sleeper compartment that has an extra wheel in its fifth axle. The single axle sleeper tractor is a smaller sized tractor than a tandem axle sleeper tractor and may be easier to maneuver than its counterpart as well.
Tandem Axle
The tandem-axle sleeper tractor is often larger than the single-axle sleeper tractor due to it having an extra rear axle right next to the original rear axle. These trucks are often equipped for heavier loads because of the extra stability that the second rear axle adds, and the driver can typically manipulate how they want to distribute the weight between the axles using a switch

Mack is a company that creates many products, but they are most trusted for creating vehicles that can be relied upon for handling heavy-duty jobs. Founded in 1900 in Greensboro, North Carolina, they are a trustworthy manufacturer that can get the task done while manufacturing light truck frames that increase freight profitability by being fuel-efficient and offering comfortable sleeper tractors with premium seating to keep truckers rested such as the Mack CX613\

Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Over-The-Road Long Distance Hauling
Over-the-road long-distance hauling can take up to 3-4 weeks for completion of one trip due to the long, coast-to-coast distances it typically involves. Because of how long these trips are, it would not be economical, or comfortable, to have to find new motels to sleep at every night. The sleeper cabin in the sleeper tractor provides not only a convenient place to sleep but also a place to keep all the driver’s belongings so they don’t risk losing them at different motels they may be stopping at.
Heavy-Duty Freight Transportation
Because long trips can be costly, the businesses that schedule them to try to consolidate as much freight as possible into each long trip they do. The maximization of cargo space means that the drivers of these trips are often hauling very heavy-duty cargo loads. The sleeper tractor, particularly the tandem-axle sleeper tractor, can provide not only a convenient rest place for drivers over the long trip but also the stability from the extra rear axle that is needed for cargo to remain safe and have as little disruption as possible over the course of the trip.
Wholesaler Delivery
Oftentimes, many manufacturers and wholesalers can be located thousands of miles away from their end consumer. Because of this, wholesalers and other warehouse and distribution centers may sometimes need to freight cargo for long distances while keeping their costs down. The sleeper tractor fills this purpose by providing a versatile tractor that can carry different kinds of cargo in the trailer best suited for the specific shipment, and also can provide the driver with an inclusive place to rest during the multi-day trip.
