Panel Van
Panel vans are smaller than the average cargo van, and they look more like a converted passenger car than a large cargo van or truck. However, don’t let their size be deceiving because these vans are still a great option for transporting your goods while boasting better mileage per gallon than larger van counterparts, allowing for better agility and lower emissions related to your delivery.
Box Van
Box vans are characterized by their box-shaped cargo area that is separate from the driver’s cab. This box-shaped cargo area has a higher capacity than some other cargo van types, and the separation between the cargo and the driver makes this cargo van type a great van to upfit with a refrigerated and temperature-controlled cargo space.
Chassis Van
A chassis van is the simplest type of van you could rent. This cargo van only comes with a driver’s cab, and a ladder chassis (also referred to as the base frame of the vehicle) on the back that allows for the operator to convert the van to fit their needs. These vans are very popular among operators and businesses who need unique specifications, and these vans are often converted into ice-cream vans, ambulances, box vans, or refrigerated vans.
Nissan
Nissan is one of the better-known and one of the most reliable cargo van brands that you can rent for your business needs. Their cargo van vehicle options range from small, easily maneuverable vans, all the way up to their NV500 model, which is one of the largest commercial vehicles available for rent in the cargo van space. Nissan is also known for its safety features as well as its reliability, making them a great brand for your cargo van rental needs.
Mercedes
Mercedes has a history of making excellent high-end vehicles, and their cargo vans are no exception. With a high load capacity, a range of roof height, drivetrain, and rear-step options, this brand of cargo vans can meet many business needs efficiently. Mercedes is also known for its notable safety features, which are some of the most thorough and extensive in the market.
Ford
Ford is one of the oldest manufacturers of personal and commercial vehicles, meaning they have a lot of experience in making great cargo vans for you to rent for your business needs. On top of their experience, Ford cargo van models get some of the best gas mileage and have some of the highest payload capacity when compared to their competitors.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Construction Contractors
Contractors in the construction industry such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC professionals all have equipment that they need to safely transport with them to the location of their jobs. Cargo vans are spacious enough to allow these contractors to transport their equipment, while also not being too large as to impede their ability to navigate and park their vehicles in the residential locations and areas where they may be working.
Delivery Services
For the same reasons a contractor may need a cargo van in place of a truck for their residential worksites, a delivery service or courier delivering to city locations can benefit from a cargo van’s easier maneuverability and better mileage per gallon when compared to a truck. This makes the cargo van an efficient and popular vehicle for delivery services.
Catering
Cargo vans provide enough cargo space for the operator of the vehicle to store any serving ware, equipment, and food to travel between catering events. Additionally, for vans that have cargo space attached to their driver’s cab, the cargo benefits from the vehicle's A/C which can help keep the food temperature controlled without requiring refrigeration of the cargo bed.
