Mechanical Reefer Box Trucks
Mechanical reefer box trucks, just as the name suggests, work automatically. During movement, a driven fan circulated air inside the box. This ensures a constant temperature and sometimes ice hatches should be left open, but this only depends on what had been transported. The mechanical reefer trucks work through heat convection where hot air rises then replaced by cold one that is cooled by ice.
The refrigeration system here is run through diesel, so the period of time it runs is dependent on the diesel tank size. They are therefore economical since there is no motion required for the refrigerator to function.
Modern Reefer Box Trucks
With modern reefer box trucks, chilled air is released from the bottom air units through T-shaped decking. They are built to maintain a certain temperature range, even when the external temperature is extreme. They ensure a uniform and nonstop airflow through the whole load and maintain a perfect air exchange with the cargo being hauled. In addition to cooling the goods, these reefer box trucks can also be set to warm them up. Again, depending on the kind of goods, the temperatures can be raised to a good 30°C. Each commodity is different, so airflow requirements will be different depending on the transportation standards of each.
GMC
GMC, which was formerly a subsidiary of General Motors LLC was started in 1911. It is one of the best truck manufacturing companies with high-quality output, tailored to meet different transportation needs. While it has a wide inventory selection, the company produces heavy-duty reefer trucks that compare to very few of their competitors.
Kenworth
Kenworth is a subsidiary of Paccar and is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It has been operating since 1923 and is parent to other different companies including GreatWest Kenworth, Inland Kenworth, Kenworth Toronto ltd, and Inland Kenworth ltd. in addition to the manufacture of reefer trucks, the company has diversified its production to other equipment and has expanded its sales operations, opening different dealerships.
Isuzu
When compared to other brands, Isuzu has been rated as the truck manufacturer with the highest number of medium and heavy-duty trucks. With such high numbers, Isuzu has a wide customer base that it needs to satisfy. And they have been able to do so since they have always produced high-quality trucks that meet the needs of the consumers. The company is headquartered in Japan and is a parent to other companies including Isuzu Australia ltd, etc.

After completing the registration form, a COOP member will connect with you to set up your free account. Then, get ready to start reserving!
Find Your Vehicles
You can use various filters or speak with our expert team to search for the equipment that perfectly fits your business’s needs. Request to reserve vehicles directly from a mobile device or desktop computer.
Pick-Up
Once at the pick-up location, drivers will upload photos of the vehicle’s condition on the platform and get the keys from the vehicle’s owner to begin a rental and get on the road.
Drop-Off
To complete reservations, simply have drivers return the vehicles to their designated locations, hand off the keys, and upload some return pictures. Pay the daily rate and mileage, and you're done!
