Cargo Capacity
The specifications listed are based upon COOP's most commonly rented fleet. They are not the exact measurements of all fleet vehicles rented by COOP. Specifications will vary by make, model, and year of trailer.
No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
Single Axle
Single axle tractors come with the standard set of axles and wheels, making them smaller, more maneuverable, and more fuel-efficient, but not able to carry the larger payloads that a tandem axle tractor can. Sleeper cab single axle trailers are a great option for long hauls with standard cargo loads, as they provide higher fuel efficiency and an easy and time-efficient sleeping option for the driver.
Tandem Axle
With an additional set of axles and wheels over the single axle tractors, tandem axle tractors can carry heavier payloads with greater stability than their counterparts. The extra set of wheels provides greater stability due to the added surface friction, but that also reduces fuel efficiency and maneuverability. If your business in Bridgeport has to carry heavy loads for long distances, tandem axle sleeper cabs are an excellent option due to the increased weight limit, smoother ride, and sleeper cab to provide a rest area for the driver. Download and join the COOP app to find the right tandem axle sleeper cab for your business today!
Diesel Engine
Long seen as the preferred option for tough and powerful engines that need to perform heavy-duty work, diesel engines are known to be tough and dependable. But as diesel provides more power per drop than gasoline engines, they have also been seen as the more fuel-efficient option for decades.
Electric Engine
Relatively new to the trucking industry, electric engines are quickly becoming popular among manufacturers and drivers. In addition to their maximized fuel efficiency and lower energy costs to operate, electric engines also provide more torque than combustion engines, giving them a faster acceleration speed and higher power threshold at low speeds.
Kenworth
Kenworth is known as a “brand made for truckers, by truckers.” This comes from their practice of bringing well-seasoned truck drivers in to consult when they design new models of their vehicles, putting careful consideration into what those who are actually on the road want and need. With excellent navigation technology built into the cabs, Kenworth tractors will ensure that you get to your destination using the most efficient route. While their components make Kenworth tractors a little heavier than their parent company counterpart Peterbilts, that extra weight provides a certain sturdiness that many drivers love.
Freightliner
Currently the most popular truck among drivers in the US, Freightliner makes sleeper cabs that are hard to beat. With engine options built to carry all sorts of different loads and horsepower options across the board, Freightliner builds its tractors to be aerodynamically efficient, which will save you money in the long run. Between their input from truckers, technology that drives fuel efficiency, and a wide variety of options, Freightliner sleeper cab tractors are always a great choice for your next long haul.
Volvo
Volvo is ranked as the 2nd best tractor manufacturer globally, but 5th in the US. Owned by the same parent company as Mack, Volvo has long put much of its focus on driver comfort, technology to increase fuel efficiency, and excellent safety features. All of these come together to provide a cost-effective, safe, and comfortable experience for drivers on the road. The Volvo VNL series provides improved airflow for enhanced fuel efficiency, LED lighting for greater visibility and lower maintenance needs as well as dashboard and steering wheel controls to limit distractions.
Mack
The Mack brand of trucks and tractors have always led the industry in their ability to handle tough and heavy workloads while withstanding the hardship of high mileage trips. The technology in the Mack powertrain has long been a popular part of their brand, but Mack has been bringing other sorts of innovations and technology to trucking. The Mack Anthem sleeper cabs offer a new command and steer breakthrough in driver-assist that makes maneuvering simple and prevents wear on the driver’s body over time. Their Bendix Wingman Fusion 2.0 brings the radar, camera, and brake system data to integrate data and create an all-around safer driving experience in their sleeper cabs.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Long Hauls
Due to the attached sleeper cabs, these tractors are perfect for long-haul trips. Providing a time-efficient ability for the driver to simply pull over and sleep when needed, sleeper tractors also provide a cost-effective solution rather than having to rent a room for every night on the road during long-haul trips.
Heavy-Duty Hauling
Whatever the industry or need, sleeper tractors can be a great option for hauling heavy-duty cargo. Whether you are hauling construction equipment, landscaping equipment, heavy cargo loads, or appliances, sleeper cab tractors can be the right choice for your business in Bridgeport.
Delivery Services
If you have deliveries that need to be moved a long distance or multiple deliveries going to different locations, single or tandem axle sleeper cabs are an excellent option for you. Single axles provide greater maneuverability while tandem axle tractors allow heavier loads to be carried with a smoother ride. The sleeper cab provides an option for the driver to sleep on the road rather than stopping to find a room, giving the option for maximum efficiency, especially on long hauls.
