The specifications listed are based upon COOP's most commonly rented fleet. They are not the exact measurements of all fleet vehicles rented by COOP. Specifications will vary by make, model, and year of trailer.
No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
Front Fixed
Front fixed reefer trailers are the most common. They have only one fixed temperature control component in the cargo area. They are called front fixed simply because the temperature control unit is fixed at the front of the trailer. In most cases, the unit has its own power supply which is separate from that of the vehicle.
Multiple Temperature Zone
This is a type of reefer trailer designed with a number of temperature control capabilities within one cargo area. This enables the shipment of different types of goods that require different temperature conditions in one cargo space. This reefer is versatile and very convenient, as it reduces the number of trips you might need in moving goods that have varying temperature requirements.
Wooden Floor
Wood flooring is perfect for refrigerated trailers because they bring about easy circulation of air within the cargo area. In addition to that, wooden floors are good when it comes to absorption of shock during transit. As a result, you are assured about the safety of your goods even during a bumpy ride.
Metallic Floor
The metallic floor is considered by most businesses mainly because it is more durable than wooden floor reefer trailers. In most cases the metal used is aluminum. Aluminum is light and versatile, with such qualities it helps in ensuring the overall weight of the vehicle is convenient for easy handling.
Utility
Utility has a fleet of refrigerated trailers that they have always improved with time. Also, Utility has been able to ensure the constant manufacture of high-quality reefer trailers. Most of them are fitted with multiple temperature features meant to suit different cargo demands.
Wabash
Wabash creates refrigerated trailers with different incredible and unique designs. The refrigerated trailers are usually light, and this greatly helps in saving fuel. Wabash trailers are also made for durability, with corrosion-resistant materials and a tough exterior which translates to lower maintenance cost and more usage.
Hyundai
Hyundai is notorious for manufacturing trailers fitted with air-ride suspension. This special feature enables the transportation of fragile goods. Most Hyundai trailers are spacious hence can be used for different haulage needs. Also, some Hyundai trailers are made to haul specific commodities. For example, the Thermotech SP model is made purposely for the transportation of goods like groceries.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Medical Equipment
A lot of medical equipment requires temperature regulation during transportation. For instance, some specific medical equipment require temperatures between the range of 35 ̊F to 46 ̊F. Temperature regulation helps to prevent contamination due to high temperatures. Hence, refrigerated trailers are used to transport most medical equipment.
Food Delivery
Food is perishable, and to keep it fresh during transportation, refrigeration is required. It needs specific temperatures to prevent spoilage. Whether you need to preserve frozen foods before delivering to other businesses or you own a restaurant and need a reliable commercial vehicle to transport all the fresh foodstuffs needed, a reefer trailer is essential. To boot, most refrigerated trailers are customized to meet different hauling needs.
Flower Delivery
Flowers require temperature regulation during transportation. High heat and humidity may not be favorable for most flowers, but refrigerated trailers offer a cool medium for the flowers to be transported in, keeping them fresh until arrival.
