Wood floor
Some reefer trailers are fitted with wooden flooring. As much as it was common a long time ago, they are still widely used. The greatest advantage of using a wooden floor is that it aids the circulation of air. Produce is commonly transported using such a trailer.
Metal floor
If your commodity in transit does not need the presence of air circulation then metal flooring is the way to go. The good thing about metal floors is that it preserves the cold way better than a wood floor. They are also durable when compared to wooden floors.
Front Fixed
A front fixed reefer trailer has one cooling component that is diesel-powered and can be easily adjusted to the most favorable temperature. This one unit is in charge of the temperature settings of the entire room. Such refrigerated trailers are meant for the transportation of commodities that share similar characteristics. It is not uncommon to see only one type of commodity being transported in it.
Multiple temperature zones
Unlike the common reefers that have one refrigeration unit controlling the temperature for the whole trailer. A multiple temperature zone trailer comes fitted with a number of units. This allows transportation of different commodities at a go, that might require different set temperatures.
Wabash
Wabash is a strong producer of trailers in many parts of the world. They are established as among the leaders in reefer trailers manufacturing. With the introduction of electric reefer trailers, you are guaranteed fuel efficiency and an endless list of options to choose from.
Utility
Utility reefer trailers are built to ensure that the operation costs are at a minimum, delivering a high level of productivity when paired up with fuel consumption. It's safe to say that utility refrigerated trailers deliver an optimized and efficient uptime.
Thermo King
Thermo King is well known for its innovative designs when it comes to its reefer trailers. The reefer trailers come with a sizable cargo area that ensures that you have the required room to transport a large consignment at a go. Thermo King is a top brand with a variety of reefer trailer rentals you can rent with COOP.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Food Delivery
Refrigerated trailers are made to ensure a certain temperature is maintained in the vehicle's cargo area. This feature helps in ensuring that fresh produce and frozen foods remain in that same state even during transportation. A temperature level between -15° and 15° acts perfectly for goods that need to remain frozen throughout the trip.
Transportation of Flowers
Flowers are very perishable in nature, and wouldn’t survive under hot weather. Refrigerated trailers ensure that the conditions are perfect for the flowers to maintain their quality. Rent the reefer trailer you need with COOP for your flower delivery business today.
Personal Care Products
Personal care products such as cosmetics are delicate goods that need to be transported under specific temperatures. To avoid altered chemical composition due to an unwanted increase or decrease of heat, a refrigerated trailer is perfect for this kind of transportation.
