Multiple Temperature Zone
Most refrigerated box trucks have multiple temperature zones. This means that the temperature in the cargo compartment is not uniform. Therefore, if you want to rent a refrigerated box truck, you should consider the needs of the items you want to transport before deciding on the type you want.
Front Fixed
The alternative option for the multiple temperature zone trucks is the front fixed ones. This type of truck has a similar temperature throughout the whole cargo compartment. It is preferred by those who want to transport a single type of perishable item. With the front fixed refrigerated box trucks, you can regulate the temperature of the goods during transportation uniformly.
Metallic Floor
The type of material used in making the floor of a refrigerated box truck is also an important factor you should consider when choosing a truck to rent. Metallic floors generally have more endurance and help maintain the cargo's temperature. The alternative option to trucks with metallic floors is those with wooden floors.
Freightliner
Freightliner is always at the top of the list for refrigerated trucks. The maker is known for high-quality trucks that leave the competition in the dust. Freightliner trucks come in different sizes and functionalities to suit the varying needs of their customers. There are various trucks from the Freightliner brand available for rental with COOP.
Isuzu
Isuzu has been around for a long time and it has grown to become a reputable brand. The maker's refrigerated box trucks are still some of the best available. For business owners with preferences for brands, Isuzu appeals to people who have had good experiences with the manufacturer. The maker delivers quality, and their trucks will give you the desired results and more.
Hino
Hino is one of the best refrigerated box truck makers in the market today. The technological fittings in their trucks that beat out competitors set them apart. The truck's body is made with quality materials, while the functionalities are top-notch. If you decide to go for a Hino truck for your rental, you can be assured of a comfortable ride within the cabin while the cargo is protected adequately.

“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Transporting Perishables
Perishables such as food and personal care products do not respond to harsh temperatures during travels. This is why it is better to transport these sensitive items through trucks designed specifically for them. After carefully loading your goods into the truck, the journey commences with the refrigerated box maintaining the temperature of your goods until delivery.
Medical Supplies
Many medical supplies are sensitive to temperature, and handlers usually consider this when transporting them. These supplies can be equipment or substances that need to be kept at specific temperatures. Many of the refrigerated box truck rentals in Chicago are for this purpose.
Transporting Flowers
Flowers are delicate items, and their temperature must be regulated at all times to prevent destruction. During transportation, refrigerated box trucks protect the quality of flowers to ensure that they do not wilt and are delivered in perfect conditions.
