Gases transported using cryogenic trailers include oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, argon, and helium.
Heated Trucks
Some goods, instead of low temperatures, will thrive under heated temperatures. For instance, some goods do not do well in cold areas and as a result, will need a warmer environment to prevent them from spoiling. The heated trailer will be used in such scenarios.
Freezer and Refrigerator Trailers
These are the standard type of reefer trailers. They are commonly used for the transportation of frozen foods and food products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and fine art and antiques, etc. The temperature in these trailers can also be controlled depending on the kind of goods being transported, or even depending on the climatic conditions during the time of transportation.

Florist Businesses
Florists understand the dynamics of owning a flower-growing and distribution business. Transporting flowers in bulk will require regulated temperatures as flowers are regarded as perishable goods. Also, High heat and humidity may not be favorable for flowers during transportation, and that is why reefer trailers are used. They offer a cool environment for the flowers to be transported in, keeping the fresh irregardless of the distance.
Medical Applications
In the medical field, reefer trailers are used for the transportation of blood and organ donations as well as medicines. Also, for some medical equipment to function properly, they need to be kept and also transported under certain temperatures. Since every item operates under specific temperature, the reefer can be regulated according to the need.
Fine Art and Antiques
Most fine art and antiques need temperature control during transportation. They are highly valuable and equally, need a certain level of care during transportation to prevent them from damage or even getting devalued from humidity. Extremely high temperature may cause shrinkage or expansion to art pieces and so, such items are transported under specific temperature, which is most times at 70 ̊F.
