Wood floor
Wood flooring in the refrigerated trailers aid with the easy circulation of air within the cargo area. In addition to that wooden floors are good when it comes to absorption of shock during transit, securing goods even when the road is bumpy. On the downside, the wooden floors are not as durable and may suffer scratched when goods are pulled.
Metallic Floor
The metallic floor is considered mostly in refrigerated trailers because it is more durable than a wooden floor. In most cases the metal used is aluminum. Aluminum is light and versatile, with such qualities it helps in ensuring the overall weight of the vehicle is convenient for easy handling.
Stoughton
Stoughton trailers are known for performance, quality, and efficiency. The company has been in operation for years and throughout its term of operation, it has managed to expand its production to different models for varying applications. Vanguard
Vanguard is a household name in the trucking and trailer manufacturing industry. When it comes to Vanguard reefer trailers, you can expect products that are of high quality, lightweight, and durable. “The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”
“I like the convenience of being able to pick up the vehicles when I need them, check them out on the app, take pictures, and get on the road.”
Produce
Meat and most food produce are perishable. For this reason, reefer trailers are used to transport them in order to keep them fresh. Some of the most common produce transported in reefer trailers include dairy products, some vegetables, and other frozen foods. Rent a medium-sized reefer trailer and conveniently haul your produce.
Flower Delivery
Florists understand the dynamics of owning a flower-growing and distribution business. Transporting flowers in bulk will require regulated temperatures as flowers are regarded as perishable goods. Also, High heat and humidity may not be favorable for flowers during transportation, and that is why reefer trailers are used. They offer a cool environment for the flowers to be transported in, keeping them fresh regardless of the distance.
Medical Applications
In the medical field, reefer trailers are used for the transportation of different medical equipment. For most of this medical equipment to function properly, they need to be kept and also transported under certain temperatures. Since every item operates under a specific temperature, the reefer can be regulated according to the need.
