Straight trucks can also be used for long hauls. They are enclosed and hence cargo is protected from rain or exposure to the sun for long hours. Also, straight trucks come in different configurations and so, while some can haul light-duty cargo for short distances others can haul heavier cargo for longer distances. Different features like the number of axles and size play a role in the amount of cargo a straight truck is capable of carrying and the distance it can go for.
Another great way that straight truck drivers can benefit is through advertisements. Straight trucks have sides big enough to use as billboard advertisements while on the job. While on a short or long haul, having an eye-capturing advert on the truck will help convey the message about what you have to offer.
Whether it is a backyard birthday party or a big concert you need to supply equipment to, a straight truck is all you need. You can go for a small, light or medium-duty straight tuck if you need to haul a few chairs, tables, and equipment for a small gathering, or, you can hire a bigger one if you have a whole lot of concerts or big event equipment to deliver.
Construction workers also need to get equipment and materials delivered to the site. Straight trucks are big enough to haul most equipment needed for construction, although they might not be used to carry the bigger machinery and equipment like concrete mixers and cranes.
