The specifications listed are based upon COOP's most commonly rented fleet. They are not the exact measurements of all fleet vehicles rented by COOP. Specifications will vary by make, model, and year of trailer.
No matter the job, enjoy the freedom of flexibility at competitive rates.
Refrigerated Trailers
Refrigerated trailers, known by some as reefers, come in both single and multiple zone temperature options. Reefers can vary in length from 48 ft to 53 ft, and come in options with either wooden floors or metallic floors. The temperature control in these trailers makes them the best option for transporting perishable or temperature-specific types of goods.
Dry Van Trailers
As the name implies, dry van trailers are most often used to carry dry freight. The most common type of trailer available, dry van trailers provide the ability to carry a large amount of cargo that needs to be protected from the elements. Whatever the reason for your need for a dry van trailer, you can download the COOP app today to find the right one for you!
Flatbed Trailers
There are many different types of flatbed trailers available depending on what type of cargo they need to carry, but most are alike in that they do not have sides or a roof. This gives them the ability to carry tall, heavy, or oddly-shaped cargo as the cargo area is not restricted by the roof or sides. Since there are regulations for height in transportation, specialty flatbed trailers are available that can carry especially tall cargo such as bulldozers or cranes.
Pup Trailers
Smaller than standard trailers, pup trailers typically vary in length between 26 ft and 28 ft. They can be pulled alone for a smaller cargo load, or can also be pulled in chains of two to three for several loads that are going to different delivery locations.
Great Dane
Great Dane got their start as a company in Savannah, Georgia in 1900. Over the years the brand has established itself as one of the largest manufacturers of dry, refrigerated, and flatbed trailers in the world. With a keen eye for manufacturing quality, their engineering proficiency and long history have made Great Dane an industry leader, known around the world for building dependable trailers that you can count on.
Vanguard
Vanguard National Trailer Corporation manufactures 48 ft trailers that are available in either lightweight steel VSF or a fully aluminum model. As a feat of their engineering prowess, both versions come with an 80,000 lbs distributed frame rating, even though the aluminum model weighs a full two tons less yet still provides the same maximum cargo capacity. Known for years of trouble-free performance, Vanguard trailers give you the option of lightweight and fuel efficiency or the peace of mind and stability of lightweight steel. Either option is a winning choice, which is why Vanguard trailers are so popular.
Wabash
A company that builds to the industry’s highest standards for efficiency, quality, and performance, Transcraft by Wabash National provides an excellent transportation choice for your cargo needs in Stamford. Including their enhanced visibility lighting system in the rear of the trailers and a design that prevents strap wear, Wabash trailers are built to stand the test of time and give you the best transportation experience that you could ask for.
Thermo King
Thermo King invented the refrigeration unit technology for trucks and trailers, and the company has never ceased leading the industry since the day they were created. Providing peace of mind that your perishable or temperature-specific cargo will never stray from the required settings during shipping, Thermo King is the brand you turn to when your precious cargo deserves nothing but the best. Appliances Hauling
Most appliances today are high-tech with many different electronic components, meaning that they need to be handled with care during shipping and delivery. Due to their fully enclosed cargo areas, dry trailers are perfect to use for appliance delivery since the cargo is protected from the elements like sun, rain, and snow. An enclosed trailer will also allow you to pack the trailer so that the cargo for different deliveries can be placed together in order, making the unloading and delivery process simple.
