How is mileage charged on COOP?

Once an Owner has accepted your reservation, you will be charged a prepaid mileage fee in addition to your security deposit. The prepaid mileage fee is based on an estimated amount of miles for your reservation:

  • Prepaid Mileage Charge on Sleeper Tractors: For each day a sleeper tractor is reserved, it will have 350 miles prepaid charged at $0.12 per mile rate.
  • Prepaid Mileage Charge on Trailers, both Refrigerated and Dry: For each day a trailer is reserved, it will typically have 250 miles prepaid charged at $0.04 per mile. All miles will be charged at a $0.04 per mile rate.
  • Prepaid Mileage Charge on all other commercial vehicles: For each day any other commercial vehicle is reserved, it will have 250 miles prepaid charged at $0.12 per mile rate.

Upon vehicle return, your mileage payment will be adjusted based on the actual mileage used. For non-trailers, if the actual mileage exceeds the estimated amount of prepaid miles for your reservation the additional miles will be charged at a rate of $0.20 per mile.
