What is required to rent each commercial vehicle on COOP?

To qualify for a COOP account, your business will be required to meet the following requirements:

  • Match COOP information to your DOT#. The information you provide to the Department of Transportation number (DOT#) must match the information you provide to COOP. This includes your company’s email, phone number, and the representative name.
  • You must pass a financial history check. A Dun & Bradstreet (D-U-N-S) number helps us learn more about your business.  Check your D-U-N-S number or, if you need to, create a D-U-N-S number for your business

After your account has been created, your business will have access to reserve different vehicles. Requirements for renting various vehicles differ and are listed below:

  • To rent sleeper tractors. Businesses must have a registered DOT# that has to be registered and active for at least 1 year.
  • To rent trucks, trailers, day cab tractors. Businesses must have a registered and active DOT#.
  • To rent sprinter vans. If your business passes our credit check, you will be able to rent sprinter vans on the platform. Want to rent out more commercial vehicle types with COOP? Apply for a DOT# here.
