Do I need to take off our USDOT # for every rental?


Most Renters bring their own decal or magnet to cover the Owner DOT. Some Owners on COOP leave a space open so that the renter can display their own DOT magnet on the vehicle for the rental.

Would these be long term or short term rentals?

Any usage restrictions, as to duration of rental, where the vehicle travels, etc., is determined by you as the Owner. The business that has reserved your vehicle can rent a truck for any duration you approve.

What kind of coverage is necessary to list vehicles on COOP?

To list your vehicles on COOP, you must submit a valid certificate of insurance. Your insurance will be verified by our team.

Who is providing insurance on the vehicles while they are rented to a third party?


The Renter has to provide their own insurance ($100K physical damage insurance & $1M liability policy) or purchase insurance directly from COOP.

How is the rental rate set?

The platform offers Owners an innovative tool to maximize your earnings. Included with your account, COOP Smart Rate can be applied to dynamically adjusts the rate of your vehicles based on a variety of characteristics like vehicle type, mileage, and market demand. If you choose to enter your daily rental price for a vehicle manually, you can select the custom price option.

How long do you have to be part of the program?


It is free to list and maintain your listing on COOP; there is no obligation to make your vehicles available and no penalty if you remove them.

Most Renters request to rent out vehicles within 1 day. We recommended you monitor and approve or deny these requests as soon as possible to maximize your potential for earnings and create a positive sharing experience.
