Who is responsible for tire costs through Roadside Assistance?

Upon rental pick-up, the driver should inspect and confirm all tires are in good condition. Once Start Trip is selected on a rental, it acknowledges that a vehicle is fully operational, including tire condition. If tires are not in road-ready condition because of dry rot, low tread, peeling recap, etc., report tire condition to our Support team by calling 877-747-5352 BEFORE starting your reservation.

Once the reservation has started, the Renter assumes responsibility for all flats, blowouts, or any other tire damage, including any damage that happens to the vehicle as a result, such as mud flaps, mud flap hangers, etc.

COOP's 24/7 Roadside Assistance does not cover costs associated with tires, tire replacements, service charges, or any additional repairs needed due to a tire incident and will be billed to the Renter.
