Why is my card getting declined?

Your cards may have been declined for various reasons. Our COOP team generally doesn’t know the specific reason it was declined. Try these common fixes before moving forward: 

  • Double-check your card information, you can do this from your Manage Payments tab in the Account Management
  • Confirm that card has enough funds,  for both the daily rental rate and other potential expenses
  • Contact your bank to see if they are denying the rental, perhaps due to credit draw limits or out-of-state safety precautions. 

If all else fails, try to add a new payment method to your account.
