Who is responsible for IFTA on my rental truck?

As the Renter you are responsible to report your fuel receipts when your rental ends or monthly if the rental exceeds 30 days.

What is required to rent a commercial vehicle on COOP?

Eligibility to rent vehicles on COOP is determined using information from Dun & Bradstreet, your DOT number, and your Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) score. Requirements for renting a vehicle differ depending on the type of vehicle and the state where you plan to use it. After your account has been approved and created, your business will have access to reserve various vehicles on the platform.

COOP by Ryder is a fleet optimization and rental solutions platform for commercial trailers and vehicles, product storage, renting out idle vehicles to generate revenue, and more.

How does the vehicle return process work after a rental?

Once a Renter drops off a vehicle, Owners will receive a message and have to confirm that their vehicles have been returned. Owners must also submit vehicle photos after each rental in order for a damage claim to be reviewed in case of an incident.

How does COOP Roadside Assistance work?

Whether your vehicle needs a tow, replacement tire, or other service our vendors will travel to you to help get you back on the road.

How do I respond to requests and extensions?

When you get a request to reserve your vehicle you will receive a notification via email, or on the COOP app that you can approve or deny.

Do I need to provide my own insurance to rent vehicles?

Renters must have insurance coverage for rentals. A hired $100K physical damage policy & $1M liability coverage is necessary for renting vehicles on the platform. The best option is to purchase coverage directly from COOP or provide your own if it meets the insurance requirements.
